History of Celtic
Celtic have a long and glorious history. The club was founded in 1887 by Irish and Scottish players, and since 1903 have played in green and white hoops. They went on to win the European Cup in 1967, and got to the final of the UEFA Cup in 2003. The team also has a long-standing rivalry with fellow Glasgow team Rangers. In recent years, the so-called Old Firm has usually filled the top two positions in the Scottish League; it remains to be seen which will be victorious this season.
